Which Carwash to use??

Hello

I discover the joy of a real detailling earlier this spring. I did my car with the Klasse twins and I love it. So far I was still using the simoniz gel car wash that I were using before. After a month of using it every weeks, I found a great difference in the finish of my car. I'm aware that this is probably not the best carwash on the market and I'm looking for something else.

The easily available product in Canada are probably Meg Deep Crystal and the EO car wash. I want to know if those worth it compare to the simoniz one. I can also order PB', P21S, AG, menzerna and pinnacle carwash from internet, but those seem much more expensive and I'm not sure if they really worth it.

Any help and suggestion are appreciate.

My favorite OTC car wash is Meguiar's NXT car soap. Eagle One Wet is an alright car wash, but I'd prefer it to have a little more lubricity.

Not sure if you can get NXT readily in Canada pretty sure canadian tire doesn't sell it,uap/napa does(least mine did) but I think it is expensive.

I just went to the states and bought a bunch of Meguiars gold class ($9 or so a gallon @ target).

As far as I am concerned, lubrication is the #1 priority when it comes to choosing a car wash. Cleaning ability is secondary. I have yet to find an OTC wash that provides the same lubricity as 1Z Exclusiv, Pinnacle, and Four Star washes. P21S has only slightly more lubrication than NXT so considering the price difference, I would say skip P21S and go for another "boutique" wash.

My vote is for NXT too, with Meguairs a close second. I am surprised that NXT is not readily available in Canada as we can get it here in OZ?

Well, I guess I would probably give a try to EO, or maybe pinnacle. I wish the NXT were more available in Canada. We have the wax and some other stuff at CT, but not the one I'm interest for (which is the windows cleaner and the carwash). There web site have them, but they are so expensive.

Anyway thanks guys for those reply

dont get the megs. deep crystal wash. the suds are great at first but they disapear after a while in the bucket. not much lubrication either. i havent tried NXT but i would reccomend you to stay away from deep crystal wash.

I just switched from Meguiar's Deep Crystal wash to Eagle One Wet Wash. The EO starts with more rich suds and it seems like the water will last longer. I've only just tried the EO for the first time today, but so far I like it. I'll probably give the Meg's DC wash to my parents.

What do you use then?

I've give a vote to the EO Wet car wash. I think they may have renamed it when I saw it in the Buffalo area a couple of weeks ago. I also have a bottle of Zymol wash which I used the last time on my car and I was impressed! Nice suds, lubricity seemed better than the EO and the scent is great. I'll definitely use it again.

Odin check your local UAP/napa store(if you have one) for NXT wash .I bought a bottle, forget how much I paid but do not think it was cheap.

Canadians have limited choices when it comes to soap I don't like deep cyrstal or EO. My solution was to get someone I knew in the states to buy me 8-10 gallons of Gold class.

Home hardware also carries some meguiars stuff that CTC doesn't have.
