You should also be able to go to your local auto parts store and find some of the courser grits (1000-2000).

I can get 1000-3000 grit paper at the local auto parts stores, but it's usually not Meguiars Unigrit (e.g. 3M)

Thanks - any idea how coarse I need for doing tail lights?

the vendor i linked above is also nice because they sell the sheets individually...most local stores (in my area at least) only sell the packs of 20 or 25 at a time...far too much for what i need.
