Where to get high quality cotton terry towels?

I'm looking to get a couple of 100% cotton terry towels, 2 bath size towels, and about 6 of the smaller 12x24(I think that's the size, not sure) ones, anyone know where to shop for them and get a decent price? What brands, what stores, etc?

yeah, go to a bath shop/department store.



however, have you considered microfibers. The large Microtex ones at wal-mart are very nice, and only like $5. I just bought like 3. The small microfibers at walmart are not too shabby either.
 
go to any high end dept store like macy's or bloomingdales and pick up some charisma cotton towels. charisma's are the best cotton. and from what i understand, they go on sale pretty frequently. you may also want to try buying the irregulars as they are even less expensive.
 
I highly recommend the Martha Stewart 4 star towels from KMart. They are 100% cotton and don't have any frilly designs sewn into them, like the 5 star ones. They are the equivalent in plushness and softness of the Koala towels sold in some on line stores.



Last Saturday (4/3) I paid $4.99 for bath size, and $3.49 for 16x9.



Wash before using to remove sizing, of course.

Are there considerable differences between the cotton and microfiber ?? I was thinking about zaino and was turned on to the 100 % cotton. then i started finding other products and then came across the microfibers. kind of confused :rolleyes:
