Where to buy WetSand paper?

I need to remove some surface rust and touch up a few areas on my girlfriend's mom's car. I have some experience with wet sanding but I don't have a clue where to buy it from. I always used the shop paper when I worked there but now that I'm out detailing on my own I need to find a place to purchase it. What are some sites that have good prices on this stuff? Thanks

isnt wet sand paper just sand paper that is soaked in soapy water?

Methinks you may need even more experience with 'wetsanding'.



Do you have a grasp of the degree of clearcoat that you can safely remove?



Can you measure your progress with an Electronic Paint Thickness Guage?



Can you afford to repaint the panel?

If he's got surface rust, the clearcoat thickness is something of a moot issue.

Go to the 3M website, find dealers in your area. Many automotive detailing supply places or body shops will have it. Even Autozone goes up to 2000 grit I believe.

I bought some at Pepboys for lapping a computer heatsink, it was 3M brand and they have combo packs that go 1000,1500,2000,2500 I think.

You can purchase Meguiar's unigrit directly from the Meguiars website. It is good stuff, the grit is really smooth and even.
