Where to buy products? (not off line)

Sorry for the kinda random question, but I have my car sitting in the garage as we speak and I just finished taking a compound to her and don't want to drive it until I get a sealant thrown on. My question is: What retail stores (Schucks, Autozone, etc.) could I buy paint sealants at? I don't want to order off line because I have to drive it tomorrow :( I thought my dad had some Race Glaze sealant left over, but it's long gone now. I know Meguiar's and Mother's have one or two of them, but I don't know exactly what they're called because all they do is talk about how awesome the product is and how super bodaciously radical the X-TREME shine will be, instead of the actual chemicals inside of it... Thanks for the help!

Unless you are looking for the Meguiar's NXT variety of paint sealants, then you aren't going to find them off the shelf. 90% of the products you read about on message boards dedicated to detailing are going to be online products. $30 bottles of car wax don't sell well on the shelf at Checker or PepBoys, so you have to look for the consumer grade products.

If you can find a Meguiar's distributor through a auto body supply shop then you'll probably be able to find #20 or #21 on the shelf. Just open the yellow pages and start calling around. If you are looking to find Wolfgang or Four Star type sealants on the shelf, then you might want to check some stores in Florida because I thing that is probably the only place that has products like what we talk about on the shelf. Even then you won't find them in chain auto part stores.

Your paint isn't going to fall off between now and the time your order for 'the good stuff' arrives. Just give it a good wash and a mild polish before you put the sealant on and it will be fine. In fact, what I would probably do is put NXT on for now and then when my order comes in I would just polish off the NXT and put on the good stuff. It is a bit more work, but that is why I don't polish my car unless I have all the products I need on the shelf. ;)

Jngrbrdman has a good idea there. Go with NXT for now and order something for later. I've heard pretty good things about NXT so it is not going to be bad to use it.
