Where to buy Meg's Final Detail??

It's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for Final Detail, which is a product from the Detailer's line. I can find FI locally, however I want the FD since according to some user it is glossier and slicker than FI.

I can't find this product at local stores, and I found a website www.dealergoodies.com that carry this product but they won't sell to me since I'm not a dealer...:(

Anyone know where I can buy it??

Thanks in advance
Go to any auto supply store that carries Meguiar's Professional line of products. If it is a body shop supplier, so much the better. Ask them to order a gallon of the Final Detail, Part No. D-5101. They should have no problem getting it from their warehouse supplier. I have done just that with three different auto parts stores with no problem whatsoever. One or two days and you can pick it up at the store.

I found a local shop that can order it for me....It should be here either tomorrow or Thursday.....can't wait to try it :D

What did you have to pay for it and what size container did you get?

Also keep us posted as to the results and how it compares to other products.:bounce

IT'S NEVER FAILED............I've let at least 10 friends try FD, within 1 week every single one of them has either asked me to buy some for them or sourced it themselves.

I still can't understand why Meguiars doesn't sell this in stores, they wouldn't be able to produce enough of it.:bow

I commented on another thread about Final Detail. I've only been using it about a week and a half and it does leave a very glossy finish. Since I work at night now, I usually wash in the morning and I notice how nice the finish looks mid afternoon thru evening.

I was hesitant to buy it since it's only available in gallons because if I didn't like it, I would be stuck with it. But the price was good and so far I'm very pleased with it. Great candy smell too.

Take care.........V

I'm about to order some other Meg's products from detailingdepot becuase my local supplier will only order cases of 4.

As for dealergoodies, how do they know you aren't a detail shop?

I have stuff sent to me all the time addressing me as a detail shop. I'd be very interested in dealergoodies because its in my neighboring state

But looks like detailingdepot is the way to go for me at the moment

Detailing Depot asked me if I were a dealer or not and when I said no the guy said he won't sell it to me....

In addition, they also charge like $8 for shipping...I ordered through a local shop and they only charge me $17 + tax... no shipping cost.....

Hmmm... just went on detailingdepot, looks like you can order online with no problems. Wish I could get this stuff from my local supplier though :(

dealer goodies site says it will sell to you as long as you live outside the state of pa

besides whats the big deal arent your 20 buks the same as some guy who says hes a dealer oh big deal, then say ur a dealer how do they know when they live thousands of miles away

If the company doesn't have a retail/privilege/sales tax license in the state and/or city which they are located, the statement on their website makes sense. They are probably wholesalers or distributors in that state. Keeping separate books (retail and wholesale ledgers) can be a pain and opening a retail store could anger your end customers, who may view you as unfair competition and may switch to another wholesaler/distributor/suppliers.

After going through a half bottle of final inspection I decided to breakdown and get a bottle of Final Detail. I stopped by a local paint and body supply store and he said he could order it for me. $16.30 for a gallon and it will be there on Tuesday. I'll definitely give my report after giving it a try next week.:bounce
