Where to buy in The Netherlands (Europe)

After reading this forum for a while I have become a detailing addict. I've bought some Zaino product (Z1, Z2, Z5, Z6 and the claybar) at a car meeting and I just love it.



My problem is that after reading about all the different products here I want to try them. Unfortunately most of these products are not available over here.



I am also looking to buy a PC like the Porter Cable 7424, can't find it either.



Does anybody know a good address here in Europe or a reliable shop that ships to Europe?

A PC can only be found in the US, and if you should be able to get it in the Netherlands,you have the 110Volts-issue.

Long story short you need to look at for example the Makita BO6040 and the other random orbit sanders with velcro backingplates to replace a PC.



As for Zaino:you can order that via:www.viper-lifestyle.de:

very reliable and relatively fast (about 4 work-days after payment)



as for Meguiars:you can look on their website for local distributors(www.meguiars.com)



3M should be available in allmost any auto-store(swirl & scratch removers bodyshop proof:xyxthumbs )



Haven't found distributors for Klasse,Mothers,Blackfire,...in Europe

Does the PC work the same as a random orbit sander? I am also looking at some rotary polishers like the Makita 9227, these are much easier to find. The next problem will be to find pads at a reasonable price.



I was looking to buy Some Klasse products but I haven't been able to find an address here in Europe. Strange because it is made in Germany. An other product that I wanted to try was P21S or S100, can't find them either.



Have you ever ordered from the US?



Maybe I should just go back to Alexander (Viper-lifestyle) to buy some more Zaino. How much did you pay for shipping for the Zaino products?

A PC is a random orbit sander, but used by car fanatics as a random orbit buffer.There realy is no diffrence.

CMA pads get good reviews, but I used Meguiars pads with good results.The price , well , nothing detailing related is cheap:rolleyes:

Meguiars HQ in Europe are in the Netherlands. I've ordered severall times from the US, delivery times were from 5 days to 2 months, but I always got what I ordered, even the PC. If you want Poorboys products PM me.
 
Klasse is sold and made by Car Lack in Germany. Klasse is the American name.



Dont forget Dr OK Wack - I like this range a great deal. The shampoo is the best I have tried.



I am sure Mothers have or had a dealer in Europe, have a look at the website. Blackfire is USA only but CMA will ship to Europe.



There are a great many products sold in Europe, 303 Plexus Luster Blitz etc, they just need to be researched.

The thing that concerns me about importing the PC is not the 100v issue (common problem with tools, you just need a converter unit) but the fact that you are supposed to take to be serviced every 100 hours of use - a little difficult I think...

It is a long story, only recently has anyone known that Car Lack make Klasse. There are a number of threads where people, including me, tried to get any information about Klasse. Basically, it was a commercial secrete

For those that cannot get the PC, there are some very good randon orbtial sanders. Here are 3:



Arlec KE125E (available from K mart for about $50)

Cheap to buy and decent build quality. Heavier and bigger than the Ryobi. The minimum speed is faster than the Hitachi. When detailing use the slowest speed setting. Good choice for those who only use the sander occasionally.



Hitachi FSV13Y 125mm (costs about $160)

The best built of the three random orbital sanders. It is about the same size as the Arlec but larger than the Ryobi. Best speed control of the three. Best all round sander.



Ryobi CROS125 (costs about $100)

A fixed (not variable) speed random orbital sander. Lighter than the other two. The least attractive of the three choices as it is not variable speed.



This info is based on Australian data. The K Mart model may not be available overseas but the other 2 probably are if you look.

If I look at that website, I see a rotary buffer , not a PC



here, at Autopia, by PC they mean a random orbital buffer made by Porter Cable

That rotary buffer may allso be made by Porter Cable, but for sure it is not the PC people here talk about.
