Where do you store your stuff?

Hi all,

Would you mind sharing where you store your rotary buffer and the 7.5-inch pads?

I'm currently considering the following:

Sterilite ultra storage drawers.

Sterilite clearview storage drawers

Sterilite drawer carts

The first two are stackable so you can have more than 3 drawers while the last one is fixed to "just" 3 drawers but has wheels.

The rotary would be all by itself and the pads would be on a different drawer, of course. Ditto for the bottles and the cloths and/or applicators.

What do you think? All comments / suggestions / alternatives would be welcome.

:)

Those Sterile drawers are great. They are cheap and very well made. I use them to store all of my detailing products.

this is sad but i store mine in my bedroom as its the only place in the house with space and it wont freeze! mostly in plastic containers like the ones described, clean and tidy.

I just bought a series of the Sterilite containers (like huge tupperware containers). I've found the drawers to be a pain to open and close when you fill them with heavy things (like a number of bottles of polish). The containers are stackable, fairly durable, and have the locking handles. Dishwasher safe, if you have an enormous super-dishwasher. :p

On top of all that - they're super cheap. I think mine were $4/ea at Target.

I purchased a few clear stackable containers from The Container Store.

Reg_Dunlop, I took a closer look at the locally available Sterilite clearview storage drawers and it seems that the build quality is suspect - gaps were too wide and all.

dternst, great pic! Thanks for sharing. You're very, very well organized though I would find it difficult to unstack everytime I need the items in the bottom-most container. :D

I eventually settled on a three very well built stackable drawers with an internal size of 23.5"x13"x9.75" (L x W x H) for about $12 each (compare to $18 for a much smaller Sterilite). I'd guesstimate that it'll hold about 30+ quarts. :up
