where do you guys get your webpages from

ive seen a number of webpages that belong to you detailers. my question is how can i go about getting a webpage and designing it myself for a low cost or free. im not too educated about web pages so please let me know something i dont already know
 
YOu could always look into something like Homestead.com. They provide you the hosting and tools to design your own page easily.
 
would i need to create my own server, or can i just get web space from someone else... how much does this usually cost?
 
Web Design for dummies. Seriously. Pretty comprehensive but I don't know when it was last updated.



My site is hosted through AIT.com. Most webhosting sites charge between $10-30 a month, depending on the webspace and useage.
 
I use a-plus.net to host, and i have done the layout and design for myself, if you need some help, feel free to pm me

I don't know the first thing about writing HTML code or any other code but, I created a website using Microsoft Front Page. I pick this program because I was familiar with the MS products and as you click the code gets written for you. It is something that may interest you.
 
I brought mine own domain and host it on netidentity.com. It cost me about $75 a year and it comes with a lot of space and email. I created my website with frontpage 2002. Since I worked at Microsoft for 3 years - I got software cheap! I have access to a lot of Frontpage templates with or without flash. If you are interested pm me.
