Meguiars recomend about 6 weeks,paint man says do it straight away what do u reccommend.

I replied to one of your other threads and posted the search criteria to use for answering the question above. You may want to invest a little time in doing some legwork.

The painter ought to know what he used and how he cured/baked it, I'd listen to him.

For a repaint, I have not heard anyone say that it is safe to put on a wax for at least 1 month after the repaint. You can apply a glaze. It is usuallly 3 months for most.
