When clay magic isn't enough

Glad wrap is to help prevent paint/clearcoat damage?

Yes, from the car bra. because it can vibrate at high speed and let dust/dirt in through the clear mesh and scratch the paint.

When going on trips, I cover both side mirrors with a metre or more of glad wrap

The excess at the bottom flaps a little but when you get there, take it off in four seconds and one perfectly clean mirror is the result and the bugs go in the bin with it

Best of luck with that front. might need a repaint.

Mirror visibility isn't impaired with glad wrap covering them? I can't think of a way to cover side mirror housing without covering mirror . . . maybe I'll give it a try sometime and see . . .

You can power wash it off or use soap and water. Rain, snow or moisture in the air won’t affect it. This product leaves no residue on a vehicle’s paint. Give your vehicle the protection that it deserves with Shield.
