Whelping help needed!!!

I bought the wrong towels at canadian tire today.

Now i have a 13m long cheese cloth at home.... (i think it's 100% cotton)

WHat can i use it on ? Wax ? QD ? Klasse ?

Glass ?
 
use it on cheese :D (sorry had to)



(don't tell anyone) but the first time I used SG, I used it to apply the SG on my wheels, it doesn't absorb the SG much so it pretty much deposited all of it. Not sure if it scratched or not, but my car looks fine. Did it pass the CD test? I would use it on harder surfaces like glass and wheels, if you're not sure. Use mt's on paint :) hth-Steve
 
I found cheese cloth does not really remove wax or polish well. It just seems to remove some of it and then spread the rest around.
 
Our bulldog is starting to have her puppies and I'm kind of freaking out!! I don't know what to expect or do. Anyone have any advice?

Boil some water?

Seriously, leave her alone, keep your distance and check in once in a while to see if she and the pups are OK. Place some water not too far away as mom may get thirsty.

Have a shot of your favorite stiff stuff and be ready to fall in love with the little ones in the morning.

Well, I'm happy to report that every thing is going well so far. I took your advice and let her do the work. At first I helped her cut the cord but I quickly realized that she does a far better job on her own, so I didn't do that again. The only other time that I helped with the birthing process was when one of the puppies was having labored breathing. The poor thing wasn't breathing correctly so I did a little cpr on it. Compressions and breaths on a puppy is scary. I hope I don't have to do that again.

Mother and puppy are doing fine. She's exhausted and because this is her first litter I'm going to stay with her throughout the night just to make sure she doesn't sit on one and to also make sure they suckle. So no Sleep for me tonight.
 
Congratulations, Dad! How many? Here are some suggested names... Dasher, Prancer, Donner, Blitzen... etc.

lol...thank you, John Henry!! She had a total of eight, beautiful puppies. I've been up with her most of the night just to make sure that she and the puppies are doing well. In a little while we're going to take her to the vet just to confirm that all is well.

In the mean time, enjoy the pictures.
