I like em'... Foose made them for that car specifically. Agreed, though, they look kinda funny with a drop. Could also use a foose body kit...

But definately adds more than the original...

Wow you're really going all out with this car! I guess I should have known that was coming by the looks of your truck. The lowering will make it look great. Any other mods planned in the next few weeks?

I wanted to go with 18's but the wife wanted the 20's. And since it is her car she gets what she wants. It look better in person but it needs to be lowered without a doubt.

Never seen a newer body style on 20's. Looks good, it'll look better with the drop. The ride can't be too good with such a small tire in the back, Why didn't you go with a 35 series or even a 40

Well the reason is they do not make one in the tire i am running. Not many companies do either. And the ride is about the same as it is with the stock wheels and tires. Hard to believe but it's true. I have some Eibach Pro Springs in the garage waiting to go on and I placed an order tonight for the Tokico D-Spec Adjustable shocks.

very...erm... how-you-say.... bling. :) (not a fan of oversized chrome wheels, myself, but to each his own)

My primary question for ya... Have you had a chance to do some highway driving with the windows down on the new rubber yet? How's the noise level compared to factory tires? I'm seriously considering a set of KDW's, and from what I've read, the road noise is pretty much everybody's one and only complaint about those tires.

Well since i normally drive a lifted truck with M/T i really did not pay attention to it. I did drive it home for about 20 miles on the freeway and did not seem to notice any noise that was out of the ordinary in fact teh ride seems a bit quiter than it did with the stockers. Also this is a very noisy car which is why i will be Dynamating the entire trunk area sson. The noise just seems to go right through this car.

What dressing are the tires wearing in those last pics?

Meg's HOT Shine Tire Spray Aerosol.

The GT looks AWESOME. Great choice of wheels. Lowering and tint will make that thing look beautiful!!

The windows are already tinted i went with the lightest tint up front since it is illegal here in Ca. and then 44% rear windows.

Hmm... Now those don't look so bad all of a sudden... I scrolled back and forth to confirm it, there's definitely an optical effect in the first batch of pictures that make those wheels look a lot bigger than they are. They look a lot more reasonable in this picture set. :)

Had a chance to drive it on the KDW's some more? Any further opinion on noise?

Noticed you mentioned Dynamat... I've been researching some audio gear for my car lately as well. You should check out RAAMmat BXT and Damplifier (www.raamaudio.com and www.secondskinaudio.com respectively). They are both quite a bit more cost effective than Dynamat Xtreme. For an unbiased and home-brew review, check out www.sounddeadenershowdown.com. Some good info there.
