Wheel Wax vs. Klasse AIO

Just tried Wheel Wax next to Klasse AIO on polished alloy rims that were neglected/dirty. The AIO supprisingly didn't take out the water spots, though it did make the wheel shiny and smooth.

The Wheel Wax required less elbow grease to take out the water spots and seemed to give the rim a better shine than the AIO. On clean rims with a clear coat, the Wheel Wax looks great. I noticed that it does tend to dry fast so don't let it sit too long or it can be a little difficult to remove.

The Wheel Wax tire dressing on the other hand, looks okay but doesn't seem to last very long.

I too got some wheel wax due to the hype about its cleaning abilities and ease of use. Was I suprised....it did everything it was hyped to do. It cleaned my Caddys wheels better than ANY other cleaner I have tried. (AtoZ, Megs., P21,???)

Wheel wax is not worth the money IMO. I find that it does not do much to a polished alloy wheel. Whenol or Mothers works way better on polished alloys, and I tried it on Chrome wheels and find I rather use chrome polish. It does not give that mirror shine to these surfaces. On clear coat wheels they work OK, but I get the same results with AIO or Color-X. For $15 I expected more. It might get rid of water spots on alloys better than AIO, but it does not work any where as good as a true metal polish I could get for $8.

I would probly stick to a chrome polish for chrome as well jetskie. Like VM does a great job on making the chrome flashy and so does flitz metal polish even though I have not tried it but have seen pictures of it used on chrome.

I like using Flitz to polish badly neglected headlights and knives but I found it too harsh for polished chrome as it tends to put in a lot of scratches. I'm just impressed that the Wheel Wax actually cleans better than the AIO. I can't in all honesty say that it does a better job than AIO/SG combo on clear coat wheels. I just noticed the wheels looked a little glossier with the Wheel Wax but it is pretty difficult for me to tell(I keep that car pretty clean to begin with).

Wheel wax is one of my favorite products. It lasts a rediclously long time, and the gloss my wheels have is pretty awesome too, plus they stay really really clean. People dog on the product all the time and i just don't get it.....

Well, I have to say that I am an advocate of the Wheel Wax. I have the following products on my keep list:

1)Rain-X (Nothing compares still. Others may be more durable but nothing compares to a fresh Rain-X application)

2)Blackjack Black Again. I just bought this last month but I am sold. It really restores old trim and plastic and even darkens flat paint.

3)Klasse AIO. This is a new product for me also since the Crystal Guard seems to have left me high and dry. I just love how it cleans anything. I even tried it on my CRT TV screen and it kept it slick and more dust free than ever before.

I'm not sold on the SG yet, but after the recent bird droppings coming off so easily it is starting to convince me.
