Wheel Wax or Sealant?

agreed. wowa products for me too on wheels. i hate removing sealants from intricate wheels!

Yeah, while I'm generally a proponent of waxing/sealing wheels, the BBS RGRs on the M3 will probably just get wheel cleaner and a QD/spray-on-product. Having dealt with other wheels of that type, I just don't want to struggle with doing them "right".
 
Just use demoted sealants on wheels. That's what I did. Don't really use KAIO/KSG on the paint anymore (PGP blew it away) so I demoted it on rims and it works great. Cleans up a lot easier too. I have some carnubas lying around, but I don't really want to use that on rims. Rims get hot and I'm sure durability will suffer. So if you don't mind reapplication frequently, then use a carnuba I would say.
 
For my C6 wheels I have used several sealants but always go back to the Poorboys wheel sealant. I only use soap and water also since mine is also a garage queen.

buddy..that is so funny..the Scotsman in me won't let me throw mine away either...I think I will give it away to a customer.
 
WheelWax didn't last too long compare to KAIO & KSG combo. Fo me KAIO & KSG twice a year is sufficient with regular wash for my semi-daily driver.(I only use soap&water to clean them too).

You might want to do it soon, as FMJ doesn't have a very long shelf life. It smells *really bad* when it goes south. It gets all clumpy, too.
 
I recently tried CG Wheel Wax Guard and - amazing stuff! Goes on like butter and it leaves a really nice finish. Two weeks after application and hardly any grime/grease on my wheels and whatever was there washed off really easy, I mean, nothing was sticking to the wheels. It is currently on sale for $14.95, that's $10 off.
