Have you guys ever used the product called Wheel Wax? I have clear coat AMG (Benz) wheels, and not sure if should use it or not ..?

Thanx

Do a search. This topic has been exhausted.

I love it. I use AIO then top with Wheel Wax.

The search will pull up a ton of info.

Not many people use it or like it. Many use Zaino or AIO.

I just recently used it. I can't really say since my wheels are trash but it did put a nice gloss on it. I followed it up with Collinite Insulator Wax. I'll be getting a new car soon and can tell then how well it protects.

But I would say use this for its protective abilities and not its cleaning abilities. I found it did take a little brake dust off but not much.

I use the Collinite too on my wheels over Wheel Wax. In fact I used it (Collinite) for the first time on paint on Sunday on top of AIO.

There are other options for your wheels other than Wheel Wax. If you don't have any other sealants available to you and aren't interested in using anything else then Wheel Wax will probably make you happy. I had considered buying some not too long ago and the online store I was going to buy it from told me that what I was using on my wheels looks just as good and will probably last longer than Wheel Wax anyway. I'll just stick to my sealants. I've never heard anyone say that it sucks though. There may have been some "blah" reviews, but I don't think I've ever read any negative ones. Apparantly it looks good and does what it is supposed to. There are just other ways of doing it that many people have been doing long before Wheel Wax came on the market.

I use Wheel Wax on my wheels, and I like it a lot.

The best part of Wheel Wax is that it is a cleaner, much like Klasse AIO. If I'm lazy, I'll just brush my wheels half-assedly and put WW on top... when I buff the residue off, the wheels are sparkling. I've tried to do the same with Klasse, and the results were definitely not as spectacular.

Personally, I think it's a great product, but you could definitely get away with using any other polymer sealant, if you're diligent.

Thanks all guys.

where can i buy this from? is it like Zaino, that needs to be ordered. As i went to Murrays and they did not had it.

I just washed my wheels which I had applied wheel wax and collinite insulator wax to a few weeks ago. All the brake dust came right off with nothing but car wash and one swipe with the mit.

Also I had found that brake dust that was baked on or left sitting was not affected by wheel wax's cleaning abilities. But I did just try it on a new car with a week of brake dust and it all came off with no problem.
