Wheel sponge

For those of you that use a sponge to clean wheels which sponge do you use? To clean my tires I use a sponge made of cellulose so the package says, , can i use one of these sponges to clean my wheels.

I use old applicator pads (foam) that are not usable for wax application.



After washing the wheels two times, the foam gets chucked.

I found all sorts of sponge on sticks and a few mitts on sticks at local auto part stores and large retailers.



Also I have an old mits I keep them all in a separate bucket to make them easier to find.
