wheel sealant

ok my truck has some aftermarket wheels on them they looked horrible from day one as no one had taken the time to polish them

i spent a few minutes polishing on a section of wheel just to see what its supposed to look like clean and WOW they SHINE look chrome but i dunno if its chrome or polished either way what this post is about is a sealer

i dont want to spend hours polishing and getting them perfect to have it go back to what it is now

the section i polished is already going back to what it was after just 2 days of sitting

so what im looking for is a good durable sealer that is easy to apply and relatively cheap ill try to post some pictures tomorrow

AIO, hand glaze and SG x 3 coats

Alternatively, Same process but replace SG with FMJ x 2 coats and PB wheel sealant x 3 coats

I like to use Klasse AIO & SG for my wheels when I can, but I usually only have the time for a full treatment a few times a year. If I've gone a long time without a refresh and want to get something decent on quick, I go for Meguire's #20 Polymer Sealant. Goes on easy, let it sit for 20-30 mins, then it comes off super easy and holds up fairly well.

how long will these products hold up and such

how long should i wait to drive when i seal them?

is there just a write up on wheel sealing so i dont have to bother yall with such newbie questions?

Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. It makes the wheels very slick, enhances the appearance, and actually lasts compared to other products I have used. Application and removal is like any other product.

so im looking at like every 3 months im re sealing?! i have 8 lugnuts to each wheel and my wheels and tires arent light its not fun pulling them off n such

i guess i sound really lazy but i dont want to have to keep applying the stuff every time i wash you know?

i try to wash every couple of weeks as down in louisiana the truck will be covered in dust the next day after washing its depressing but gotta maintain the paint

anyways so im looking at every 3-4 months having to repolish and reseal?

how do i know when its time to reseal? just like wax kinda?
