I saw this thread:

and decided to go pick one up. I washed my car when I came home, and it works great...it has rubber all around the edges which help alot in not scratching your wheels, and fits in your hand very nicely. It was only around $3-4, and the bristles are really soft. It did a great job cleaning my wheels, so I just thought I would let you guys know.

Well, I'd imagine a brush too soft wouldn't work too well on wheels. He said he did a CD-test and it didn't scratch, so that's good enough for me. :)

Matt,

Thanks for the heads up. I took your advice and picked one up the other day. I was so eager to try it, I left the tag on and after I was done had a nice sized spit ball. I thought it worked great, especially for the price.

Did the one you get have a blue and white rubberized handle?

yeah I saw that one, but its a little to bulky for my wheels. Not to change the subject but have you ever used a brush instead of a mitt to wash your car.

Not sure if it would be efficient.

I'm not trying to be rude, and I know sometimes it's hard to convey sarcasm in type, but you are kidding, right?

I got two of those brushes. A short one and a long one. Personally, I like to use the long one for cleaning my tonneau cover.

I use a brush all the time. Then I follow it up with "NuFinish".

Man, what a shine.

Looks pretty good, MattZ28. I'll have to look for one and compare it with the OXO.

I'm suprised what pops up at Wal Mart these days. I found a four sided spoke brush that fattens down very well to get between between the wheel and rotor/brake parts that my OXO wasn't getting to because of it's "rubber nose".

matt,

offcourse I'm kidding, I would never consider deserting my trusty microfiber wash mit, however I did once use one on my old cars convertable top.
