hello!

my wheels started to turn yellow in between the spokes and they are hard to get out. possibly due to brake dust? anyways.....what product should i use th get this off. i've tried wheel cleaner and simply green but it doesn't seem to work. i also don't want to use a brush and scrub off the finish of the wheel. what is your suggestion?

as for the engine, what is your recommendation or product to use to clean the engine bay. some products advise to use a hose and lighty spray the engine every the cleaner sits for a few minutes with water. is water safe on the engine?

Can't help with the wheels since I can clean mine with my regular car wash shampoo. Once you do get them cleaned up, use a good sealant on them and you will find they are much easier to clean.

Engines are not that tough and if you don't spray water directly on the electrical components, you shouldn't have a problem.
I used to cover anything I was concerned about with aluminum foil just in case. I no longer bother to do that. Regular cleaning will make the job much easier. After each wash, I try to at least wipe down the engine compartment with a damp towel. When I have time, I wash under the hood with car wash shampoo just like the rest of the car. I do rinse with very low pressure so I don't drive water into places it shouldn't be.

thanks guys....the brush seems to be safe on the wheel finish. as for the engine....do you turn on the engine and keep it running after rinsing with water until all the water evaporates or this is not necessary.
