Deep scratch guy.
How do you guys hold your rotary when doing a vertica panels?

Dam thing wanna fly off..I set my 1000 rpm and still feel ackward. Any tips?

Makita 9227C has an excellent handle design. One way is to use your right hand to support the weight of the rotary while it's in vertical position, and using left hand just to steer the rotary left and right.

Yeh, I give a try. Dam thing has too much torque.

With the PC I can do it with one hand.

For vertical panels I muscle it into the proper position (I try to keep the pad, LC 8.5 inch pads, about flat to the surface maybe at a very slight angle.)

After a while your arms get used to the added weight and torque and it becomes like a mini work out.
