U.S. Navy, Submarine Navigation Electronics Technician First Class. I have been active duty for 16 years. I have done two sea tours on two different class submarines (637 Sturgeon class, and 688i Los Angeles class). I've been all around the world including doing a tour in Afghanistan working hand in hand with the U.S. Army. I currently serve as a Field Service Engineer repairing Radars, Inertial Navigation Units, and Interior Communications.
I've been a car guy all my life, and have built a few toys myself over the years. As another poster mentioned, detailing clears my head and allows me to relax.
Let me see, USAF retired ( 1974-1994 ) Serve many years overseas like Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Grenada, Panama and thru out the Gulf region. Been a Material Management NCO, Air Traffic Controller and a Combat Controller and yes I work at the now retired ProperAutoCare. I had detail many cars in Japan and Korea back in the 80's. Now I'm a Asst. Branch Manager for a major paint company. Been a part time professional detailer for over 35 years and hope to be a Beach Bum in the near future.
USAF 12 years.... combat search and rescue aerial gunner.... if you think detailing is a good escape you should try shooting a minigun or a .50 cal!
A little late but better late than never, Thank you gentlemen for your service!!!
