What's your favorite QD to use with sealants?

Either FK425 or FK146. But IME the Sonus acrylic stuff is OK and so are the UPP and BF detail sprays. But overall, I'd just get a gallon of one (or both!) of the FK products.

I agree with David Fermani......Zaino Z8, if the cost is not a concern.

But for a lower-cost option, my favourite is Megs Ultimate Quik Wax. Gives a rich, vibrant look.

i THINK the majority seems to lean on f425/f146 or the UQW?

or maybe it was that one thread from last week....ionno

With this proviso: 425 is a true quick detailer. Ultimate Quik Wax is a spray wax: it should only be applied to a clean surface.

I like both products a lot. FF 425 is my favorite QD. And I like to use UQW whenever the car looks like it needs a little boost in gloss.

How would you compare 425 to Ultimate Quik Detailer?

I think that 425 may add a touch more slickness and gloss, but UQD, with its hydrophonic technology, does add beading capability. I use UQW regularly on our CR-V, which is protected by UPGP. I honestly do not expect a great deal from quick detailing sprays. UQD is available locally. That's a big plus.

425 also has antic static properties and i do find the car staying cleaner longer when using 425

Heh heh, when I posted how it doesn't seem to work that way for me somebody here suggested that I must be applying the Fk425 backwards :chuckle: Glad to hear it really does do the anti-static thing for most people.

i too hardly notice an anti static effect over sealants. i only notice its properties when sprayed over carnuba wax..

either way i still like fk425
