What's your favorite liquid wax?

If your looking for a quick 1 step if your car is in good condition I recomment NXT. Bought it yesterday and I am impressed, I had last polished my car 3 weeks ago with Menzerna FP and used FMJ 2x's. The weather has been harsh here in the northeat and killed the slickness of FMJ but was holding up well, me being me I used NXT and it did its job on my black audi. Took me 20 min to do the whole car, very easy to use.

Durability: Collinite Insulator

Looks: Carnuaba Moose (CMW) followed by Liquid Souveran (LS) a close second

One Step Cleaner Wax: Gliptone Pro Buff

I purchased the old version Pinnacle LS a few years ago and was extremely dissapointed in both looks and durability.

Is the current LS improved?

One-step: Waxpolish Soft.

LSP: Liquid Souveran (although durability is terrible).

I need to get the Collinites:(

As a generality I dislike liquid waxes, the only one I keep around is CMW. All the positives you can think of and none of the negatives.

Yep in agreeance with you ms22

I've got CMW and love all clearkote products and I want to try out and even distribute collinite maybe but I get mail delivery failure when emailing them

I'm not a huge fan of liquid waxes, prefering sealants on most paint, but Liquid Souveran gets my vote.

Fast and easy to use, nice shine.. the only downside is the fairly strong solvent smell. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a liquid wax.

Megs Color X and NXT, Mothers new Reflection and FX, Turtle Ultra, and Eagle One Nano. They all seem to give that high gloss wet look . Turtle Ultra is the cheapest. Mothers products seem easist to use.

Yes, the new LS is a far different product than the old LS............... and a very nice one at that.

They sent out free LS to everyone when they introduced it, was one of my first freebies here.

It smells nice, goes on nice and looks great. its not a long lasting wax but they dont claim it is either. Its a nice look and for me its as good as liquid wax ever was. I use sealants myself but for a topper it a nice product.

One big advantage of liquids over pastes is that you don't contaminate the product with grit. Have you ever done along the rocker panels with a paste, then seen the specks of dirt on the applicator? It's a crying shame if you get a speck or two in that Souveran.

NHBFAN, PM me your address, I'll send you some liquid Souveran to try.
