You don't use any wax at all Charles?
Nope.
I have used a lot of different waxes with good results, S100 Carnauba probably being my favorite, Meg's Medallion being next, but 4 Star UPP doesn't really need any wax topper to keep me happy. The S100 didn't add enough, if any, to offset being able to add more UPP whenever I felt like it.
It might not be the thing for everyone, but it works for me.

Exterior:

Wash – PB’s SSS or Optimum.
Clay – Optimum
Cleaning Polish (single stage): AIO. On CC I use my polish/compound line-up below.

Polish & Compound – Optimum & Menzerna (IMO These are the best of the best polishes).

Chrome/Exhaust: Flitz. I’ve tried it 3 times, and that’s all it took for me.

Glaze – Finish Kare #303
Seal –On light colors I like UPP/OCW, and dark I like WG/UPP (Metallic), or WG/EX(Flat) combo the best. For a 'quick seal' after a wash OCW.

Carnauaba Wax – Finish Kare Pink Wax.
QD – Poorboys S&G and Finish Kare #425

Quick Wax – Poorboys QD+ via PC or OCW by hand
Wheel & Tire Cleaner – EO A2Z or APC
Wheel Acid – Poorboys S&R and 4* Ultimate Wheel Gel and a toilet brush. I don’t do ‘acid’ anymore.
Wheel Sealant – Poorboys Wheel Sealant
Tires – BnB or Optimum Tire Shine (new formula). I like the look of BnB best, but Optimum is close and lasts longer.

Wheel Wells – Clean with APC and dress the same as tires
Window Glass – Poorboys S&W then S&G
ßKiller combo!
Window, lights, and painted trim – VM
Plastic Trim Pieces – Poorboys Trim Restore

Interior:
Leather – Poorboys (not yet released) / LeatherMasters
Wood Panels – Poorboys S&G
Dashboard – Vinylx or #40. (I also use Poorboys). I haven’t landed on one product that I like best for an interior dressing.

Door Trim: Vinylx, Trim Restore.

Door Seals – Poorboys Leather Cleaner/Conditioner ß This is a FANTASTIC product. I sure wish Steve would start selling it!
Door Jambs – APC to clean & OCW to protect
Carpets –Steam Buggy & Folex for stains. Water/Woolite mix for the light stuff. I stopped using Oxyclean.

Engine: APC mix, power washer, various brushes to clean then OCW & Optimum Tire Dressing to seal and dress.

Tools:
Metabo, Dewalt 849, Cyclo, PC
LC VC 7.5” & 6” LC high gloss. Lake Country 4” pads for the cyclo.
Microfiber: I usually buy from Poorboys. Steve has a pretty nice MF line up.

Items that have a permanent spot in my collection:

Poorboys: S&W, S&G, S&R, QD+, Wheel Sealer, Trim Restore, EX

Optimum: Polish, Compound, OCW, Tire Shine

Menzerna: FPII, Power Gloss

Four Star: UPP

WolfGang Sealer. Wolfgang is my go to ‘base’ sealer on black. I like to top it with UPP or EX for improved durability, then maintain with S&G.

Finish Kare: Pink Wax, #425.

Lake Country: My preferred pads.

Best ‘New for 2005’ Products that I’ve tried (at least new to me):

-Finish Kare #425, #303, #218/2180

-Optimum: Compound (really more of a SMR in my opinion), APC, and New Formula Tire Dressing

-Poorboys: S&G, S&R, and QD+.

Hmmmm, What will my list looks like 2-3 years from now?

So, do you plan to get serious about this business one of these days?:)

And on a serious note, are you mobile or do you have a fixed location? You must have a cube van if you are mobile. Maybe even trailer with the van.:)

Charles, I detail from my home on weekends. It relaxes me from the pressures of my real job as a Global IT Manager.

That's the same in my case but with a different job. :)
Do you have all those tools, too?
Heck, lots of shops aren't equipped that well. I would almost pay to have mgm2003 come by so I could use all that stuff. :)
