Whats your absolute favorite car of all-time?

Todd@RUPES

Just a regular guy
Cost and considerations aside, if you could have one car in your garage to stare at every single day of your life, what would it be?

I started with a top ten, chipped it away to my top five, thought way to hard and arrived at a top three, and finally decided (for today, subject to change) that my favorite car in the whole world is a Type 57 Bugatti Atlantic.

Having been lucky enough to see of 1 (of three I think?) twice, it's beauty and style is simply beyond approach.

The rest of my top 5:
2) 1992 McLaren F1
3) 1962 Ferrari 250 GT Califorina (same car as in Ferris Buhler)
4) 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO
5) 1967 L-89 (427 tri-power) Corvette.

I would like to put some windshield time behind the wheel of a Saleen S7. I like a lot of cars but it has to be one of my favorites.

69/70 Drag Pack Mach 1 (R Code). These I've owned and are probably my all time favorites. Tough to find a great picture of one of these. This one is too light blue for 70 model.

A friend of mine locally deals in buying and selling supercars. He bought one of these from Florida so it was in MPH and here we think in KPH. Anyway, he as let me have many cars over the years for a weekend of fun and this was one of those. When I took this one on the highway where I like to give them a proper test drive while going on a slight downhill and the wind at my back, I checked the speedometer and I was going 160. I said to myself wow this feels good, and just at that moment I remembered this was 160 MPH and not 160 KPH in a 100 KPH (62.5 MPH) zone. I let go of the gas and allowed it to slow down. Up until that car and to this day I have never gone this fast in a car and the handling was better then most of the other cars he lent me. It's been my favorite car since that day.

If money was no object it would be the 25th Anniversary Lamborghini Countach.

This...

I really have a lot of favorites, but this is my all time. The shape.. sound and the fact that it is an Alfa just win me over in every dept.

Absolutely automotive perfection.

It sits right in front of these which are a tie for second place:
Aston Martin DB5
Ferrari F40
Ferrari GTO SWB
Koenigsegg CCX Edition

I was torn between the '67 and '69 L-88 Corvettes. I chose the '69 as the winner.... What a beast.:rockon

Factory rated at 430hp... Actual horsepower, from the factory, was 550!!! This was a factory race car. The baddest of the bad.

(Although the '67 was pretty sweet too!)

Here's one of my favorites:
From the Movie “You Only Live Twice”, which I saw in 67 when it first came out and love the car from that day on.

The one car I actually drove some was a red 1972 Chevy Chevelle SS convertible. I think it had a 327 engine but the 454 SS version too. In those days, the biggest issue was the back glass rusting out.

A good cruising car was a 1969 Pontiac Bonneville.

I think 1973 was when everything GM made started going down hill. The emission laws did not help but in general.

When I saw this car, it caught my attention in a very special way...
I wanted it....It stold my heart....

The Sniper...

and thinking that once before the work it looked just like this....
