I was secretly talking to the platinum rep that reads posts on this board on IM (FORGET HIS AUTOPIA NAME). He sent me the following message so be alert anytime you see his web address posted, its probably because he promised the poster free stuff!

Premiumautocare: make you a deal...... if you somehow find a way to nonchalantly drop www.4starplatinum.com on Autopia I will make sure to send u a little something on the house.
 
I will kindly remove Dewayne's posting privs. People are so bad. He asked me about sponsorship rates... I guess he didn't like the price.

Wondered in here from google. I am looking to start my own business in detailing, however I have no past experience so I have a lot of studying to do.

I just came home from Iraq, and am sitting on my butt so time for a new career!

Do yourself a hugh favor and find another field to go into to. Take advantage of the GI bill and go back to school

I'm not trying to be a smartalec, just trying to save you another year or so of wasted time. Why do you want to get in this business?

Yea, there are probally 100 or more other "detailers" here, but no, I have no competition. I am the best there is, was and will ever be

I am certain this is what I want to do.

1. Money
2. I love cars, and I love when the look awesome. I also like to please others with services (wait, what?)
3. I am looking forward to building a thriving business.
4. I am now looking forward to be better than you, since you are self proclaimed better than everyone else.


I also have read about the "fly by night" companies, which I have no intentions of.

Are these reasons good enough for you?

1) As long as you don't plan on getting rich, ok

2) If you decide to make this your career choice, the love you have for detailing will soon fade. Be prepared to get another hobby

3) What expierence do you have in running a business? Theres alot more to this then just buying equiptment

4) Right answer. If you cannott strive to be better then me, why waste your time

The fly bye nights will stay in business, just long enough to wreck yours

Before you left for Iraq. I'm assuming you went through some intense training? I'm sure there were times when you hated your instructor?

Aren't you glad though now that they taught you what they did, instead of just telling you its just going to be one big happy party over there?
