A warm -16 today and only -20 with the wind. 6" of snow looks beautiful until I have to go home to shovel/snowblow. :help:Nice to live in Sault Ste Marie Ontario Canada [SUP][/SUP]

14° in PA and I have no heat for the 7th time in a little over a year. You would think I live in some tenement or something, but I live in a nice townhouse (rental) on a golf course. I pay close to $1500 a month rent for a tiny 1 bedroom place.

My lease office keeps fixing my heat - and it just breaks again. Last night my house was 40° inside and I had to sleep in that. I'm venting here because in really pissed. Never know when I'm going to come home after working 13 hours and have no heat.

Honestly, I thought of just punching a hole in the wall to fan in some of my neighbors heat last night. I'm going to the lease office and telling them they can fix my heater or replace it. If they "fix it", and it breaks again - I'm just going out to buy a new heater , deduct cost from rent, and install it myself.

Now I don't know anything about heaters, so it may not be the most professional job. I may have to cut some holes in the wall or sledge hammer some parts out. I may have to rig it with bubble gum and duct tape. It may be a fire hazard - I may blow up my whole development. I may not even buy the right heater. I think my heat is gas - but I may just rig up an electric one running wires all over the place. Not sure - but I will have heat.
