What's the story with Armour All

I love Vinylex for the interior. I really like the look of 303 but can't get over the horrrible smell of the stuff. I wish they'd change it up a bit to smelll a little more pleasant.

I may have to give AA a try now that I know it's been reformulated.

I don't smell anything bad in teh bottle of 303 I just got :nixweiss

Then again, my sense of smell isn't all that great. As for AA, on the interior it's too shiny and oily to me, I used some Eisenzett cleaner and woolite mix to try and get it off, and then use 303.

I am going to order some 303 here soon to test it out.

I have found 303 to streak on certain surfaces...Armor all is shiny if left alone, but applied with terry cloth and wiped with MF gives a semi-matte "rich" finish.

Black Again. You haven't seen what plastic trim can look like until you've tried this stuff.

The website you linked the pic from doesn't allow external links, so I went ahead and copied the pic and hosted it so it would show up. -- Tort

I use Vinylex on the inside of my car since I like the way it looks.

I still use Armour All on the outside trim since it doesn't seem to streak as much as Vinylex on certain parts. Also, the Armour All wipes are a godsend for some spaces.

INTERIOR-

303 is my choice for the interior, mainly because of it's UV protection and the matte finish it leaves behind.

EXTERIOR TRIM-

I really like 1Z Tiefenpfleger. It's got a satiny sheen to it and is very durable. It won't streak if you apply it properly and will last though a couple of washings. I like it on my tires also, makes them very black.

I've used AA on the exterior but I find that it just doesn't have any staying power. As for interior work, I don't use it there, just too shiney for me.

Hope this helps :)
