Yeh our dollar is great. Meguiars Canada is looking for the long buck and chooses to make large on the poor Canadians. Don't believe it is duties or money difference.
I buy from Chris Pace at Eshine.ca and Chris somehow manages to sell at a fraction over the US price and provide a great variety of services. Unfortunately Meguiars gave the Canadian rights to Dominion Sure Seal and the rest is history.
I went stateside and bought one of the Walmarts NXT v2 packs in December. I then checked out the prices this side and figure the value of the items would be about $80. here. Some of the items are not available in Canada but NXT v1 is currently being sold here at $29.99.
I buy from Eshine or wait till I go to the states. I'll definitely admit the Canadian retailers have the right to cover their costs of import but since NAFTA they don't have large duties to contend with.

are people using liquid or paste? I had asumed paste but then saw something that suggested paste had only just come out so maybe it was the liquid versions?
Personally I like a liquid for application, but any other differences between the 2 versions?

Liquid: Most users got theirs in the package offer at Walmart in December. I think the paste version is just reaching the shelves now. I think your assumption is right that most users have been very pleased.
