Whats the feedback on NXT v2?

My Wallyworld still has them $17. Already have three of the boxes. I just can't seem to pass up the great deal. I handle a lot of washes and mini-details, and use all of the products (except for scratch X).



I have put 2.0 on about ten cars so far. All of them being black. With the snow and ice and rain during the winter, I just decided that this customer needed more protection on his seven to ten (drivers) that are being used periodically this winter. I love #26 liquid and paste. Totally addicted to the smell and feel of the liquid, but the protection during the winter months left a little bit to be desired. After 4 weeks and quite a few washes, the 2.0 seems to be protecting just fine. They all still bead and shed water very nice. They all still look very slick and wet and the salt seems to have a tough time sticking to it. For an OTC sealant (especially at this price) I am extremely happy with it.



Maybe it is just me, but i have to wear a mask or pull a towel around my face when applying this product. On two seperate occasions I got a bad headache working with this stuff. The smell isn't bad, it is just very strong!!!



It might not be the best ever made, but it scores a very solid second IMO. This opinion is based solely on black cars.

Just for reference, how does NXT2.0 look in comparison to Carnauba Moose? Is there a huge difference.



I recently just did a red Cadillac STS and I was contemplating on using NXTv2.0, but I opted instead for the Carnauba Moose. I am glad that I did, but I did not know that NXTv2.0 looked that good.

Not a huge difference, but I'd give the edge to CMW in depth and darkening effect. NXT 2.0 has an edge in slickness and swirl filling.
 
Been on my vehicle for just nicely over 5 weeks. Has been through 3 ONR washes plus 4 (wand type) do it yourself washes 10 pounds of road salt, loads of snow and it is still looking like the minute I put it on. Really sheds water from a high pressure wash. I think it is an extremely good OTC product.
 
Someone on another thread said he found NXT2 has more cleaning ability than v1. Anyone tried it on a poor finish and noticed that?
 
My new unit is Flint Mica with lots of metallic and it ain't muted. Possibly multiple coats could dull it but I haven't seen any ill effects and in fact really like the appearance of it.

I only have one coat on mine at this time and there are tons of pop.
 
Since NXT 2.0 isn't available in Canada yet (and probably won't be for some time) I had a friend from Atlanta go to Walmart and pick me up one of the car care packs and ship it to me. I got it over the Christmas holidays so I had the chance to put a coat on in my garage. It looks fantastic on my black Corvette! It shines and fills scratches better than Zaino Z2 or Z5, NXT v1 and #21. This new NXT 2.0 is my favorite LSP by far! I'm glad it's got the hydrophobic properties that UQD has, as I find dust sticks to my paint less and my car is my daily driver, so I was getting pretty tired of having to pull out the california duster everytime I got out of the car.
 
I've had it on for about 5-6 weeks and I find it washes off easier without leaving any film on the car in the do-it yourself washes. Canadian price will probably be $29.95 for just the NXT. Good Deal EH!
