is it just the counter weight? i'm thinking of buying one 7336 from detailer's paradise, has anyone done business with them? the machine alone is 120$ :xyxthumbs

if i want to use a 4" pad do i need to use a 5" counter weight? and a 6" counter weight with 6" pads?

thanks :dance

You got it. The only difference is the counterweight. It's a shame you don't have a Lowe's near you cause they are only $99 there. Look around before you buy because I have been seeing some pretty good deals online from various different vendors, but they all come with the 7424 which is no big deal since you can buy a counterweight for under $5.

Using the 5" weight with the 4" pads would be the better choice, but you could essentially just leave the 6" weight on there all the time and be happy.

The machine just seems to like the 6" weight better.

cool... i'm going to order from detailer's paradise, are they good?

it's the cheaper place i've found and they send to portugal real cheap ;)

I've never ordered from them, but I've heard they are good people. You may want to start a post asking about them just to be sure.

corsa_sport, is Portugal on 115volt power supply? I thought Europe was 240volt?

If you buy a PC it is suitable only for 115v and you will need a step down transformer if your supply is 240v.

I lurk here all the time - I just detail for my own personal taste, and spend most of my time on the Acura and Tacoma forums.

For what it's worth, I've used Detailers Paradise a ton for my stuff, and I'm VERY happy with them. They've got a shop here in Denver that is always crawling with car club folks on the weekend, and they are willing work with you on a personal level if you have a special requests.

Best deals can be found if you buy one of the package deals: pads, backing plate, etc. I've used their Prima swirl QD as well, pretty good stuff.
