What's the best way to clean carpet?

I had too many cars with dirty carpets and I am tired of scrubbing them clean.

Is there a machine or product you just spray on and rinse or clean off with minimum scrubbing?

I am a pro when it comes to exterior detaling but carpet cleaning I am lacking the knoledge or easy way.. Help me here guys! :helpsmili

Jay's right....oxy clean and a pressure washer is the only way to go when it comes to cleaning carpet, i haven't come accross anything that that regime won't get out. :biggrin:

i use the pressure washer only on floor mats after i scrub the oxyclean in ...it works, but sometimes drying is a problem, but most customers don't mind once they see that the carpet is spotless

Sometimes you need a bit of agitation to get everything out. I've run into a ton of really dirty carpets and I must say, the method that's linked to above is one of the most effective I've used. Tan carpet that was black comes extra-clean.
 
I have a brush that attaches to end of my 7424 that works wonders on nasty stains ...ex coffe spills you always find on the front floors
