What's the best method of attack?

On these stubborn caked brake dust.

The lip aren't polish nor chrome. It's a painted brush nickel.

Are you sure it's brake dust and not corrosion or something?



If it's definitely brake dust I would just soak it in a good wheel cleaner that is safe for your wheel for a long time then agitate it with a brush and see what happens. Might take multiple times for it to work though if it does.

key is to let it soak for a 5mins then agitage with brush. then rinse off with sharp stream of water.

Not sure if it's corrosion either. It's wouldn't leave.
