What's the average detailing age

Yah, I'm 18 too. But I have been detailing since i was 15 I think (waxing and interior) but have been washing cars my whole life. Gotta love it.
 
My 12 year old son, Tyler, just told me he wants his 2 minutes of fame... the last 4 or 5 weeks he's been real interested in detailing; actually helped me wash & dry, then apply (and buff off) a coat of Nattys-Blue on my wifes car last weekend, and asked if he can help the next time I detail my car :)

I just might get some small bottles and give him his own supply of products. Some AIO and UPP would look awful nice on his gray metallic bike !! He can spiff it up each day with some S&G or UGE before he goes out and about.
 
My son has one of the muppet tins of Natty's that is just sitting on his shelf waiting for the right time to bust it out. I'm thinking next summer we'll see what it can do. He'll be 2 1/2 by then. Do you think that is old enough to operate a PC? lol

Muppet tin of Nattys? Oh, my... how do I get one?

2 1/2? Absolutely! I'd suggest breaking him in with SG. That way everything else will be a piece of cake.
 
I've had it for awhile now. He likes to play with it, but he knows there is wax inside that he can't wait to use. It was a limited thing that Steve did when it first came out. I bought mine from Dwayne almost 2 years ago I think.

Well, that and the fact he is wearing his underwear on the inside of his tights and not the outside. That is what Superman really died from. Embarassment. lol
 
Im 18 years old, have alwys been into detialing but when i got my new car last sept i really got intrested. so i guees its been about 6 months and wow have i learned alot.. i dont think its weird to see young detailers as we dont have the money to repaclce our cars for the msot part and want to keep them in tip top shape.. not to make generizations but alot of older people have a little more money and can pay somone or buy a new car (plz dont get mad just what ive seen off DC) so being 18 and in love with your car is more then normal imho
