Isopropyl Alcohol. They come in different percentages. I usually mix a couple ounces of it with water in a 32 oz bottle. I use after polishing mainly. Not all the time though.
been reading IPA in lots of threads and I figure is Alcohol, when should I use it? and how is it mixxed?
Hmm I might try this, this weekend. If I get it on rubber trim around the sunroof can that cause a issue?
Strong dilutions may dry out damaged/faded trim.
I was thinking to strip the surface, could I add a .25 oz of Megs Rinsless express?? Since it has no gloss enhancers or polymers, I would think it would aid in lifting dirt if there is any, and the Alcohol would strip the surface.
Is my logic correct?
This would be done in a 32oz spray bottle
It could work. Let us know! I really like using CarPro Eraser which is likely close to what you describe.

Tried it and worked great, I found 70% IPA at the pharmacy, so added the 16 oz of alcohol to 16oz of water and then .20oz of megs rinse-less. Did one coat of BFWD after M205 and will followup with one more coat of BFWD I will only have 2 hours to let it cure and top with BF MS.
