What's everyone planning on using for the winter?

All the cars have got rotary work with DACP , VM, and RMG. I'll be completing them by 2nd week of November. This is my rotation I use. All my sealants go on with LC black pad speed 4. I top the Natty's by hand.

I may go to Collinite 845 but it depends on how well its "ease of removal" is.



EX-P/Natty's

EX-P x 2 , topped with Natty's Blue x 2. Every month after wash, customer will be adding one coat of Natty's blue



WG/Natty's

WG x 2 topped with Natty's Blue x 2. Every month after wash, customer will be adding one coat of Natty's blue



4* UPP/Natty's

UPP x 2 topped with Natty's Blue x 2. Every month after wash, customer will be adding one coat of Natty's blue



and in non heated garages, in sub zero temps, I've used NXT paste wax which came off surprisingly quite easy last winter.



I've discontinued Zaino and Klasse SG as they are simply too difficult to remove.
 
My daily drive has had AIO and EGP a few weeks ago, which I topped with Collinite 845. Probably put another coat of it on in a few weeks time to see through the colder months. It will then be washed weekly with QEW.
 
I am planning on Zaino x 3 + collinte 845 + Optimum Spray x2 + natty's blue about a week apart on each - after the Zaino X 3 .

This is on my girl's car which is " our car " during the winter . My car will be in storage

All weatherstripping and such will get 303 and windshield aquapel . Other glass AIO then hand app of VM and rubber trim and chrome will get VM .

Guys dont forget to clean and protect your battery posts pre-winter
 
My plan is to leave my car in my garage, covered and move to the OC till April :p



Realistically though for my RSX and my sister's car I plan on using RMG for a light cleaning then topping it with Meguiar's #21.

Since my father's car is 16 years old and my mom wants to get rid of her van next year I think i'll just use some PwC, and if i'm im the mood maybe a coat of UPP.



I got this all planned out for the week of Thanksgiving. Since I only have classes on Mon, Tues and Thurs and my professor has already cancelled class for Tuesday, I will pretty much have a full week of detailing lined up in anticipation for the winter :nervous:

Probably go nuts polishing my car then go with VM > RMG > YCW > CMW and then maintain with OCW and Quikshine.
 
Z7, clay , PO106FF , Z6, Z2PRO x 3 , finish off with Z8. wheels AIO, Z6, Z2PRO x 3, glass AIO, on a side note the PO106FF was a pleasure to work with and left a very nice finish :bigups
 
I have two days before the first chance of snow. :(



Install snow tires (Dunlop Winter Sport M3) and OEM steelies

AIO/WG on wheel covers

Clean alloys/tires before storage, and protect with 303 (tires), AIO/WG (wheels)

Clean/protect trim with PB's Trim Restorer (done)

303 Wiper Treatment

VM/#16 on glass

#16 on paint (on top of the AIO/UPPx2/PG that's already on there)

Gummipflege on weatherstripping

AIO/#16 on door jambs



Get some winter floor mats?
