Whenever i work with DACP, PO106FF, at speed around 5. I get all these dusts coming off especially at corners of the car. Am I doing something wrong? It seems I may be doing it too fast, perhaps I need it work it at a lower speed?

Thanks

i recently used PO85RD and noticed that after you work the polish for a while, it does dust considerably. PO106FF is the same thing as 85RD except that it has a higher concentration of abrasives. It should dust just like 85RD does.

I'm going out on a limb and thinking that you've never polished with a PC before. If so, some polishes do dry out and create dust when your polishing. Some are worse than others. The poorboy's SSR series creates alot of dust while polishes like those made by Optimum create very little to no dust at all. Don't be alarmed when your polishes start to dust up, its perfectly normal. You can use the dusting as a sign that you need to add more polish to the pad soon.

Initially I thought was the same thing -- compound dried out from previous use. Although, I can't seem to see any (perhaps not thru naked eyes).

I've tried using less compound and lower speed.

Maybe my cleaning process for the pads isn't right? I basically let it sit in a bucket with dish washer soap (dawn) for a bit, then rinse it out. I then put it on PC to spin it to get the water out.

How do you guys clean the pads?
