what will Masterlock think of next?

so i'm going to get a new masterlock combination lock (don't want one with a key, because i'll probably lose it LOL) and looked at the masterlock website to see which ones they have. i stumbled across this new one. geez, what will they think of next?...

I think some day they'll make a lock that can be opened with a smart phone, kind of like a remote control. Someday, everything will be controlled by phones.
 
Wonder if those can be opened with a thin shim the way some other Master locks can :think:



IIRC there's even a how-to on YouTube. Right off-hand, I dunno who's (new) lock I'd go with, but if real security is the goal I'd think twice about a Master padlock.
 
so me and the nephew just went to staples and picked one up (he needs it for his PE school locker), and while not cheap at $7.99 (only availabe at staples at the moment near us), it's quite easy to use and not having to remember numbers is nice for a change...
