What wax smells best to you?

I'm going to go against the grain here, but I don't like all the fruity aroma's in my wax. Seems like they are trying to hard and I'm paying for something that has no effect on performance or looks.

I like the smell of Collinite 845 and FK's Pink Wax, they remind me of what a real wax should smell like: nasty. :lol

I guess I would have to say Natty's Blue also. I almost started to try chewing it once.

I also like the smell of DG AW. It smeels like Banana Boat's sun screen and it reminds me of being at the beach.

I also have to comment on the smell of XMT #1. It smeels just like PEZ! I love it.

Poorboys Polish smells like citrus.

The Polish W/ Carnuba smells like bubblegum.

And the Polish w/ sealant smells like a vanilla creme.

The Mothers Showtime detailer is cinnamon. That one

I really like.

Most of the products in the Meg's line smell nice.

Zymol Carbon also smells good.

The worst?

Nu-Finish., hands down!

What is the point of making wax and tireshine smell?? I've never understood that. Who sits there and sniffs their paint?

I know my nuba smells lilke tropical fruits and my tire shine smells like grape kool-aid... I just don't understand why???...... Seems like a useless add-on just there to mark up the pricetag.

I think its more for the person using the products, not for the car... smelling pleasant odors while you work is much better than having to smell chemicals or the funk from whatever the car has growing mold under the seat.

ROFL.. I was going to say that also.. with a "JUST KIDDING" after that :)

lol, I have to turn my head away when I apply it...

I actually like Natty Blue a lot. As for glaze, EZ Creme Glaze grape smell is unbeatable. Honorable mention to CG One as well...

Not a true wax, but I'm with Kapinn about CG's One.

Maybe most consumers prefer something scented vs. unscented and therefore, if you took 2 of the same exact products, one with and one without a scent, the scented one would score higher with most people, even though they perform exactly the same.

If I had to pick between 2 hot twin sisters, and one always smelled fresh while the other had a natural BO scent, I know that I would go for the one that smelled fresh, even if the one with natural BO wasn't really that offensive smelling to begin with.

Lol, nice comparison. I must admit I pick my Natty Blue over my Pinnacle Sig Series just because of the smell. I use pick my CG EZ creme glaze over other glazes because of the smell. ONE is in it's own league though. I'll leave the garage open overnight just so I can "wash" my car with ONE. It's very psychological...
