What vacuum do you use?

I use a Lowes 3 gallon 1.5 HP vac. It seems to do the job.

Mine does tend to emit a high pitched, fairly annoying whistle from the attachment at times though. Anyone else experience this?

I'm not certain if anyone else answered your question but my 16 gallon (garage unit) does the same thing when I neck down the attachments. I use a WindTunnelâ„¢ attachment on mine to clean the pet hair off of the sofa and it's deafening but the result is worth it.

Anyone had experience with the metro vacs? they seem like a good tool with all those detailing attachments. and portable at 18" too
