What type of towels do I need and how many?

I shot them an email and even included a pic showing the El Gordo I bought in April and the towels I received today. They replied by saying that I could send the towels back for credit. By the time I'd pay for the shipping, the store credit would just about cover all the FedEx charges. So now I'm stuck with something I could have easily bought at Target for a third of the price. Great.



Let's just say that my chances of doing business with CG again are slim to none. I truly hope that no one ordered these on the basis of my previous recommendation.

They must be from a different batch. The advertisement hadn't changed at all from the time I originally bought the towels. It's easy to see the difference. The El Gordo from April is on the left, today's arrival is on the right, and a Vroom from Target is top-center.



I thought that perhaps the towels needed to be washed, as April's El Gordo did before showing its goodness, if you will. No such luck.
 
Yeah, I just got my Chemical Guys Monster Blue towels and I am NOT impressed. I knew they were one sided but they really are not that thick. They may be “OK� but they are not the plush towel they say it is. I was also was disappointed that they waited 3 days to ship. Not sure I will be doing business with them again.
