What type of Battery Charger do you use?

What does everyone use to keep the rubber door trim nice and soft and black? This would include the trim inside the trunk, and under the engine hood...

For the interior seals I like Gummi Phlege the best. (available at BMW dealers) Wurths is also good. For exterior rubber Zaino is hard to beat.
 
Where does one find Gummi Phledge? BMW dealers only? how does it compare in cost to 303?

I put Z16 on my rubber door seals 3 weeks ago and it still looks like I just applied it. Z16 seems to last a loooooooooong time. It also has UV protection, which is pobably a good thing on rubber.



I even detailed my engine compartment with Z16. Looks pretty awesome with all the black plastic that's under my Bimmer's hood.
 
Gummi Phlege is available through all BMW auto and motorcycle dealers. If they don't have it on the shelf then they can order it. I can't remember the cost. Nothing extroidinary. One aerosol can has lasted me at least two years.



It is a very thin, clear substance that I spray into a rag or applicator and then wipe on the soft seals. It doesn't coat them as much as it seems to "absorb into" the seals. It makes them "blacker" and very uniform in color but doesn't leave any type of fake shine that will wear off. You can feel and see the difference immediately and for several weeks after application. Hard to explain but the difference is amazing.



I have used it on my cars for years now and haven't found anything better for soft seals.



I think, roughly translated, Gummi Phlege means simply, Rubber Care. Clever Germans.
 
I'm also a big fan of the Gummi Phlege. A very nice product. Beau was kind enough to send me some a few months back. Also thanks again to Brad for recommending this product to me a while back. Laters.
 
Beacuse the aerosol that you are speaking of is not the same form that I purchased this product in. ??? I special ordered this product through the local BMW dealership where I live. What I received was a tube in the shape of a toothpaste tube, nearly as large. The product is clear in color, with a consistency slightly thinner than Vaseline. Definately not an aerosol - this is weird. I paid $8.00 for the tube. I really love this product and it really does perform as described, but why the difference in form?



Brad - any thoughts on the difference here?
 
on the door & window seals as well as the black body trim on the outside and was very impressed with the end results. It took out any white haze left from my poorly applied wax and made everything look like new. Now if it lasts as long as it does on the tires, I'll be one happy camper.
 
Arcticwhite, I also have the tube version of the Gummi product. It works very nicely. I simply put a little bit on a cheap microfiber towel and spread it as evenly as possilbe. Works wonderfully. Beau told me that they didn't have the aerosol can so he got the tube version. I'm glad he did. Laters.
 
I really like the product myself, but I actually use my bare fingers to apply it to weatherstripping. This way, I can work it into the weatherstripping with a good deal of accuracy, let it sit for a little while and then lightly buff off any excess.



Just a different approach. :)
 
More correctly... Battery Maintainer.

I have two "Battery Tenders" by Deltran Corporation.

They bring the battery to 13.8v, then shut down. When the battery charge gets down to 11.8v, it will kick back on and charge back to 13.8.

What I like is that I can leave them connected to my two Vettes all winter without worry of discharging or overcharging the batteries.

Any time I go to start it up... ready to go!

What's your choice for battery chargers/maintainers?
