What to use when cleaning inside of wheel

So.... after removal, is there a procedure to protect the inside of the wheels, or allow for easy cleaning? Like a chemical, protectant, sealant, etc, or will the inside being "clean" just be easy to keep clean as long as you regularly wash them.

They're easier to clean once you do the big job, but they'll stay nice a lot longer if you apply something really durable. My best results have been with heavily layered KSG, but FK1000P works OK too and even Collinite waxes can last quite a while.



I use UPP on the S8's wheels, but that needs redone pretty often.

as accumulator mentioned Collinite works pretty well . . . . i have even had great experience sealing wheels with Rejex.

Yeah, I planned on doing the outside faces in Collinite 845IW, but the inside does not have the same finish.

I use Rejex on chrome rims. Gives a good look.

The less-well-finished inner surfaces tend to retaing dirt a lot worse, so anything you can do to smooth and protect them will be worthwhile IMO.

Yea i looked up a video of that stuff on you tube. Pretty crazy how it cleaned that older Vette wheel. Hope you have the same results!
