What to use to remove light surface scrathes on clear plastic?

My instrument clusted has light scratches on it...what can I use to clear it up? And...do you think the same product can be used to clear up some srcatches on my cell phone screen too?

Hmm.. maybe Novus #1 (spray) may do the job, if not maybe Novus #2 . I wouldn't try #3, I think it would be too strong for that type of plastic.

Also, there is Plexus, a spray plastic cleaner which I believe contains a filling wax.

Novus 2, followed by Novus 1.

I used it on scratched headlights, speedometer lens, subwoofer (bandpass) box, tail light lens, etc....

I don't use the Novus 3. It's a more abrasive polish and I've never needed it.

1 and 2 are great. Leaves the surface slick and shiney.....

You can get Plexus at a good motorcycle shop, or, I recently found, a Marine/boat supply type store

I also had fine scratches on the plastic lens that covered my instrument cluster.

It was driving me crazy :angry

I don't have acess to Novus.

I tried a little amount of Klasse AIO and to my amazement it removed about 95% of the scratches and made the other 5% less noticeable :xyxthumbs

Here's another vote for Novus. The #2 completely removed hazing on the instrument cluster from a non-plastic-safe product. The #3 followed by the #2 also did wonders on 6 year old neglected headlights. They look much, much better now. I have never used Plexus, so I can't compare the two, but I am very happy with the Novus.

3M also makes a plastic polish that you might be able to find locally.
