I seldom run into this material, but it bugs me.
Let me try to describe it. On the MINI metal shifter, it sits over the shift pattern decal. It feels about 1/8" thick and is obviously clear. It is somewhat soft to the touch, but now after a year it is getting really sticky.
I've tried 303 and plexus, but the sticky surface remains. It seems this material must not be very stable.
If you've run into this material, have you been able to treat it and keep it from getting sticky?
