My girlfriend bought an e46 BMW convertible earlier this year, and I've been slowly bringing it up to snuff. The lid for where the convertible top stows when open is covered in grey vinyl with a leather-like texture. This gets the full blast of the sun and is exposed to all the grime in the air when driving. What should I use to clean it? And to protect it (presumably the aerospace 303 I have for protection)?
