What to use for engine dress up?

I love the protection of 303 but I want a lil more "look" if you know what I mean. The looks of 303 are great but not long lasting by any means. What can I top over 303 that isn't greasy and oily? Anything OTC??

I've come to like CD-2 (you can find it at Autozone) for some decent bling under the hood. It's a little oily, but I spray it on and run the motor till it's warm and it usually dries itself up to a nice sheen without the oilyness after a couple minutes.

I have heard it's getting harder to find. (or was for a while)

it leaves a nice sheen. It really is the best looking product of its type that I've sampled. Dust attraction isn't too bad. The stuff does seem to evaporate away, that would be the only con.

CD-2 will last longer and attract much less dust than anything I have ever use. I use it on wheel wells and the weekly washes are a breeze!

Cheers,

GREG

So this CD2 product...I simply spray down everything in the engine bay with it and let it do it's thing or do I need to cover up some parts? Should I apply 303 for protection before applying the CD2?

I agree. Great OEM look and you can dilute for as much bling factor as you want.

Does it sling/spit like some of the other megs tire shine products? I hate the slimy tire shine that ends up attracting all the road particles. It says its water based too so I like that.

Apply enough for a light coverage, any excess you can wipe off after 20min or so. Do your engine clean, then wash the car, do the wheels, interior, etc, then come back and do a quick wipe of excess. its pretty fool proof.

Cheers,

GREG

I'm from the Hamilton area too Blake! Anyways.

I can't seem to find this CD2 stuff anywhere around here, atleast not online in any of my retailers. I def wanna try it out. Some people are saying that it actually cures and protects your engine while repelling dirt/dust. Looks like I'll have to order this from the states.
