I did amild inital Spring detail on my car yesterday. The process was polish with Optimum Polish, AIO, and NXT. The car looks great and is 90% swirl-free. I love the look of NXT on my Lapis Blue paint, but I want to either top it with something, or use a spray wax to maintain the NXT, as it's durability is not the best. Would OCW be a good choice? I don't wnat to loose the NXT shine.

If you like NXT, just apply a second coat of the stuff. Otherwise I suggest a "pure" Meguiar's wax, one that has no cleaners -- #16 or #26.

or, 845 IW for that looooong lasting pop!!! :p

I applied a second layer of NXT today. Seemed to add some depth. I may ordder up some #21 and add a layer or two.

Keep in mind that NXT has some cleaners in it, so every time you apply it, you will remove part (or all) of the previous layer. I'd suggest a NXT booster type product, or pure carnauba as a topper.

I've been using p21s to top it off....very nice...adds to the deepness by setting off the blue flake in my midnight black pearl on my wrx...
