What to top 845 IW with?

You let 476 dry?!? You guys are cray, I've had such bad luck with 476 drying, I usually just wax on wax off for best results.

Agree, a section or two at a time, then go back and remove. Piece of cake.

Ok let me ask you guys this, When waxing and putting on a layer as"thin and even" as can be, some waxing motions(circular), don't reveal a film of wax onto the finish. It looks like nothing went on to the naked eye in that spot. In this scenario, has wax actually been transferred onto the finish or must the wax always be visible to the naked eye on the finish for it to have been laid down?

When ever I see the invisible patch, I reapply more wax or press down harder on the foam but then I get a tough time buffing off that portion usually.

It's hard to say. Some people let the applicator go dry (or don't prime it properly/uniformly in the first place) and then there *can* be skipped/missed areas. But if you keep the applicator uniformly loaded and you do overlapping motions, you should get that "even application".

Note that I can hardly *ever* see LSP on my vehicles after I apply, I put it on *that* thinly. But I'm always reloading the applicator (with a *tiny* amount of product) uniformly, and I overlap my motions (often just apply with the Cyclo or GG polisher) to I'm confident I haven't missed any spots.

Be sure that applicator doesn't go dry in places and that you *do* overlap thoroughly.

The fact that it's hard to buff those areas off tells me that you probably overdid it there. It's just a guess on my part, but usually when things buff off easily everything's good and when they don't something's wrong.

I'll even go off and do something else for a while before I buff it off. No problems, comes right off with hardly any effort at all.

I used to WOWO it back when I had the Volvo wagon, but after Mike Phillips suggested a change I started letting it flash off until it'll pass the finger-swipe test and I seemed to get better durability that way.
